An “off the cuff” writing prompt

I was discussing my blog with a funny friend last night. Lacking anything more profound to post at the moment, I’ll share what he said when I admitted I was feeling a little dry on what to write about next.

“If you cared, you’d write about apathy.”

Does that spur any thoughts, memoir writers? When did you care–perhaps too much? When did apathy bother you–and what did you do about it?

About first person productions

My blog "True Stories Well Told" is a place for people who read and write about real life. I’ve been leading life writing groups since 2004. I teach, coach memoir writers 1:1, and help people publish and share their life stories.
