Story Circle Network–for women with stories to tell

I’ve been a member of, and a teacher for, Story Circle Network for a few years now. If you are a woman with stories to tell, you might check out this worthy group. Good journal, online classes, an annual conference I’ve heard good things about, an editing/manuscript review service, and other resources… all yours for a membership fee of $45. If you’re a woman. (But on the Internet, no one knows you’re a….)

I’ve got a class coming up in their Summer term, “Start Writing Your Cookbook Memoir.” First time I’ve taught this online–I’m looking forward to it. Join me?

The other news from StoryCircle is the annual Susan Wittig Albert LifeWriting Competition–deadline June 30, topic “Solitude”. Winners compete for a chance at possible publication in the SCN Journal or even a cash prize if you place first, second, or third.

The competition is open to Story Circle Network members in good standing. The entry must be original and previously unpublished. Click here for complete information.

Writing is a solitary act… surely you’ve got something to say about it! Get writing, and good luck…

About first person productions

My blog "True Stories Well Told" is a place for people who read and write about real life. I’ve been leading life writing groups since 2004. I teach, coach memoir writers 1:1, and help people publish and share their life stories.
