Westside Senior Center Reminiscence Writing starts up September 25

We’re back in our old time slot on Tuesday mornings! We’ll meet for eight  sessions* from September 25 to November 13, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Westside Senior Center, 602 North Segoe Road.

The workshop offers a “one room school” approach in which beginning and continuing writers learn from each other. For 8 weeks the class will discuss and practice techniques for writing about life experiences. Each class includes time to share what you’ve written in a supportive environment. You may write on suggested topics or choose your own themes.

*This workshop meets for eight Tuesday mornings–skipping October 23rd, to conclude on November 20th. To register contact Kari Riley at the Westside Senior Center, 238-7368 or kari@westmadisonseniorcoalition.org. Class fee $40.

About first person productions

My blog "True Stories Well Told" is a place for people who read and write about real life. I’ve been leading life writing groups since 2004. I teach, coach memoir writers 1:1, and help people publish and share their life stories.
