Don’t forget to write!

The desire for self-expression is hardwired into us humans, it would seem–as this beech tree in southern Indiana bears evidence!

Mostly I tend to complain about growing up in central Indiana (so flat! so conservative!) but every Spring I get the urge to drive south until I find a beech woods and an understory in full ephemeral wildflower glory. (So beautiful! And so much sooner than Wisconsin!)

I am just back from one such pilgrimage, and it left me speechless…. in other words, shy of  a “true story well told” to post this morning. It’s time for self-expression–yours.

Here are the guidelines for submissions to True Stories Well Told.  Throw a story my way–send to sarah.white@firstpersonprod.com.
